back home

The weather has turned crazy! Gale force winds, torrential rain and little old me with an umbrella is not a good combination, anyway back home and dry now.

I've been getting ideas from pearly coloured buttons, pretty plates, vintage crochet lace and tiny seed beads...

I must admit that I'm slightly lacking inspiration at the moment.

I'm off on a trip to Lisbon, Portugal with my boyfriend next week. I'm really looking forward to some blue skies (hopefully) and to come back refreshed full of ideas.

Have you ever visited? I would love to know x

  1. Hi Victoria, I havent visited Lisbon, but been to the south coast of the Algarve a number of times. I remember the very beautiful town of Silves, just inland from the coast towards the hills. We ate one evening at an amazing and very Portugese restaurant, enetering to the sound of folks tapping on the tables! Everyone was tucking into fresh crab, breaking the shell with small hammers, hence all that tapping. Needless to say we ordered crab that night, my first ever experience of that particular shellfish, it made for a very memorable evening and that was back in the 1980's, haha. Have a great trip to Lisbon, sure its going to be fantastic.
