snow days

little deer

I've had a few (unexpected) days off work due to the snow, so my boyfriend and I have been trapped in our little village, which has been quite nice, but hopefully back to normal soon...

Have you been enjoying the snow?

The little china deer in the photo above was a gift from my lovely friend Natasha of (Candy Pop). Looking around my house I've realised I have a thing for for china animals and birds...Is this wrong?

  4. Your home looks lovely. It is funny how you collect things without realising it. I use the bon maman jam jars too, they are ideal for button collections. jayne

That was so sweet of Natasha to give you the darling deer! Sweetie, it is not wrong to love little china animals and birds! Having things in our home that make us smile, make us happy and bring us joy, is what home is all about! Enjoy them! Life is so precious. It would be sad not to have pretties to brighten our path along the way! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! Love to you, Paula xoxo

  7. I have china animal ornaments dotted here & there too including ones given to me as a child by my grandmas & great aunts when I would admire their ornaments in the china cabinets...must be in the DNA!
